Alongside the successes at the DNAA Novice and County Championships, the Bowmen of Backworth have gained more awards and broken more records in the past week. Congratulations to all involved.
Held today at Whitburn Archers. Congratulations to our 2023 County Champions winning three gold medals in Junior Gentlemens Barebow, Ladies Compound, and Gentlemens Longbow while representing the Bowmen of Backworth. Well done to our three champion archers. A great result for our club.
One of our longbow archers not only won the DNAA Novice Indoor Championships, he also shot his third blue Blaze score in doing so and thus qualified for his blue Blaze badge. Well done. Another of our longbow archers shot his third red Blaze score on Wednesday to retain his red Blaze badge.
Two great performances for Bowmen of Backworth today.
