First outdoor shoot in 2023

Wall to wall sunshine greeted the archers for the first outdoor Sunday shoot of the year. 12 archers shooting a range of distances from 30 yards through to 80 yards got their outdoor season off to a great start. On Wednesday and Sunday we have seen five new club records.
One of our ladies barebow archers set two new records this week: 54-332-2 in the WA25 and 67-381-2 in the Stafford, and a gents barebow archer set a new Windsor 40 record of 108-806-48. A ladies compound archer set a new Stafford record at 72-658-15, and a ladies recurve archer set a new National 30 record at 69-451-21.
Well done to everyone turning out today for a good day’s shooting and especially to our record breakers this week. Keep it going. Let’s have another record breaking year.
