Club National Day

Not quite like the early Olympic Games but still a great day at Backworth shooting the National rounds. We had 12 archers shooting a range of the National rounds, from a New National through to a National 30. Three new club records in the ladies compound (Long National), ladies barebow (National 30) and gents compound (National 50). We also achieved four of the new Bowman scores (3rd, 2nd & 1st Class) in this club competition, putting the archers on their way to one of the new awards. In addition to these successes one of our ladies barebow archers shot a new club record in the Long Metric IV round.
Great shooting by all involved and a very pleasant and relaxed club competition. Many thanks to our judge whose knowledge of the rules and eagle eyes helped keep us on track.
