Club Long Metric Round & Awards Update

Many thanks to our archers who shot the club Long Metric round today. A wonderful sunny day at the archery field saw not only archers shooting the club round, but also several beginners enjoying and extending their archery experience under the guidance of our coach.

In the Long Metric rounds we had the following successes:
2 new club records in ladies compound Long Metric I and ladies recurve Long Metric V.
3 Bowman Second Class scores achieved.
6 Archer Class scores achieved.
11 Long Metric rounds shot.

The next club round is the Western, to be held on Sunday the 18th of June.

We also had another great week for achievements.
One of our novice gents recurve archers achieved his 252 at 50 yards badge and his Archer First Class badge.
Our ladies longbow archer, with only her second day using the longbow, achieved her 252 at 20 yards.
One of our ladies compound archers achieved her Bowman Second Class badge.
